Just finished fixing an old 1940/50’s Kay arch top up.

When I was given this Guitar by Hendrix, not Jimi but my friend Hendrix, who I work with and is also an Amazing guitarist.  It came with a wobbly neck, cracks, dents, chips, broken braces and a finish that was finished!  The neck had been played so much below the fifth fret that there were Three distinct depressions from the players thumb.  The binding around the neck and headstock was thin…

Anyway… after about a month of stripping, gluing, spraying, respraying, and generally getting things wrong and having to redo things… I don’t claim to be a luthier… yet- but l’m learning.
