Now that we have played around with colour theory, basic patterning and form drawing let us put it all together in a SWEET project! ReDesigning a world monument as a CAKE! Yup- make it as sweet as you like! Play, Play Play.

Here we go…
chose a monument to work with. Here is a lists of monuments and memorials for you to check out.
Got one??? Good.
Now find a variety of images of your chosen monument so you can think about how, from what angle, you will draw it out.
Now here is where the FUN begins. Take the design elements from your monument and ‘Mash’ them up with a cake design and lets see some edible architecture. ..or whatever you cook up!
Now build your Cake with the design, aesthetic ideas and elements you see in the monument.
Ok, Sketch it out. [One-page sketch]
Now try and define the details and artistic touches of the monument. [one Page full of sketched details]
Once you know what ornamentation, decoration, design elements
it is time to go on to part two!

- Sketch it out… Candyfy it
- One page Draft
- Transfer your draft to a canvas board
- Paint- Build up washes first then add the details
- Submit final image on Teams
