Great Reading aloud today, class!

Homework:

– 2 worksheets – (a) Scavenger Hunt (b) Safety/WHMIS Symbols – complete by next class

– Read the section on Safety that we started in class: p. 8 – p. 13 in the textbook

– Bring $10 for workbook (or see me if you have concerns)

– Register for Moodle course (Go to johnoliver.ca, click on “Students” and then “Moodle.”  Click on “Courses” then “Science” and find “Sc 9 Mart 2-1.”  If you do not have a Moodle account, you can create an account using your John Oliver email account.  The username for your John Oliver email account is usually your first initial and last name @johnoliver.ca.  Please use your full first and last name so that I know who you are.  Please email me at jsmartin@johnoliver.ca if you have any problems.

– Bring a book for silent reading next class, please.

Choose one safety rule and illustrate it in the digital format of your choice.  This could be Prezi, Powerpoint, another kind of image, etc.  Include a headline or caption so that it is clear what the rule is that you are illustrating.

Share the assignment with me in Google drive (jsmartin@johnoliver.ca).  Please use the title “Safety in the Science Classroom” and include your full name, date, and period.
