Read 6.1 (types of chemical reaction) and determine their characteristics (what are the patterns that can help you recognize them?)
Why does the book list six types of reactions, while some sources only refer to five?
Finish reading lab 5-1C in preparation for the lab next day. Be sure to bring the first part of the lab that was started in class.
Finish part IV of the case study. Begin reading chapter 13 on evolution.
Summarize the antibiotic-resistance-articles and prepare a short presentation to explain the main ideas to the class.
Work on balancing equations (p. 211 and additional problems throughout section).
Work on parts 3 and 4 of the case study (An Infectious Cure). Begin reading of the section on Evolution in the textbook.
Bring the start of lab 5-1C to class next time for completion.
