There will be a safety and scientific method quiz on Monday, 18 September, 2017. Please review the handouts and work we have been doing on those two topics.

Search for and watch at least 2 videos on “how to use a four beam balance.”

Study the scientific method and safety materials we have been working on. There will be a quiz on Tuesday, 19 Sep.

We will be using the four beam balance next class. Please look for and watch 2 videos on their use as preparation, in addition to the video watched in class. These are usually only a few minutes long.

Be sure that you review the safety and scientific method work that we have been doing, as there will be a quiz soon (date has yet to be determined).

Finish Simpson’s scientific method handout and bring to class.

Finish Spongebob worksheet on scientific method (controls and variables) and we will go over it in class.

Read sections 10.1 and 10.2 and work on the handout (What I know and What I would like to know).

Work on the reading of 3-2 in textbook and section 3-2 in workbook.

Complete the handouts given in class.

Work on the periodic table handout given in class.  Read section 2.2 and 2.3 in the textbook and do 2.2 and 2.3 in the workbook.

Work on the periodic table handout given in class. Be sure you have completed Activity 2-2B and 2-1 in the workbook. These were assigned 2 classes ago.
