You may bring one 8.5″ X 11″ notes page, double-sided, to the exam. It must be handwritten by you. No photocopying or printing allowed. Be sure it meets these criteria or you will not be permitted to use it. The notes page must be handed in with the test.
Study arthropods and insects using textbook. Be familiar with their general characteristics.
Study for mid term exam (chapters 1, 5, 9, 10, 13-15, 17 plus safety, microscopy and scientific method.
Read and study all drosophila papers handed out.
Read and take notes on insects and review segmentation (p. 594).

Read 215 – 216 in text. Continue working on Analyzing Genetic Data questions. Read parts 4 and 5 in the case study and try to answer the questions (not for handing in but we will discuss them).
2-3: finish the activity on p. 242 in the textbook.
Work on the genetics questions.
Work on the genetics problems and finish the finch diagram.
Continue reading the chapters on evolution. We will continue with the Galapagos Finches activity next time.
