14 November – Continued working on worksheets from last class, and took notes on Origins of Life on Earth.
Complete the reverse side of the taxonomy worksheet, as well as the “Primate Classification” on side one of the handout from today.
Any late work that is still outstanding should be submitted by Thursday, 8 Nov 2012, in order to be counted for term 1 report card.
Print “Classification – Template Notes” from the Moodle site.
Complete the Expectation 4 from LG 4 assigned last week if you haven’t already done so.
Bring the LG sheets to class next day. They are available on the Moodle site. Be sure to print the activity pages LG5 pages 3-5 single sided (we will be using scissors to cut them).
Complete the Expectation 4 on p. 1 of LG 4 (Taxonomy and Classification).
Be sure that all assignments have been handed in: 4 Expectations, 4 Evolution worksheets (Elephant, Natural Selection (beans activity), Evidence of Evolution (the one with the colouring) and Evidence from Structure (with the prairie dog example)).
For next class, please ensure that you have printed Part 2 of the LG from the Moodle site.

Study for the test – DNA, RNA, Protein Synthesis, etc, as well as Evolution. Refer to the LG for the sections of the textbook that we covered.
Please also refer to the notes we took in class for your studying.
