Finish worksheet on Energy Transfer and finish taking notes from the textbook.  Complete the workbook sections 10-1 and 10-2.  Be ready for a test in the first week back after Spring Break.  Have  a lovely Spring Break!

Continue to take notes on section 10-2.  Pay special atention to radiation budget, weather, pressure, humidity, and convection in the atmosphere.  Continue working on workbook section 10.1 and 10.2.  We will have a test on Ch. 10 when we return from Spring Break (sometime in the first week back).

Read the notes available on the Moodle site (we went over them in class – “Energy Transfer in Natural Systems”)

Continue working on workbook section 10.1.

 

Read section 10.1 in the text and take notes on Temperature, Thermal Energy, Heat, Heat Transfer. 

Please note that Heat Transfer includes Conduction, Convection and Radiation.

Use the text, workbook, and the resources on the Moodle site to study for Ch 9 test, Thursday 7 March.  Problems and answers are posted on Moodle. 

Practice problems at the end of Chapter 9, p. 405-417.  Do as many as you need to.  Not for handing in.

Be sure that you have finished the workbook section.

 

Finish lab on p. 387, 9-1C.  Work on workbook sections for chapter 9.

Chapter 9 test date has been changed to Thursday, 7 March.

Study for Ch 9 test – Tuesday.  Use the practice problems and study guide posted on the Moodle site (answers are provided).

Finish the Practice Provincial exam questions.  Complete all the questions, and be sure to show work for q. 52-57 and 61-64.

Continue working on the workbook section 9 if not already finished.

Read Textbook section 9.2 and work on workbook section 9.2.

Review motion questions and study guide posted on moodle site.  Answers are posted as well.

Test on Ch 9 will be on Tuesday 5 March for sections 2-1 and 2-3.
