Work on the practice take home quiz and study the notes/chapter 24 (24-1 and 24-2). Test 19/20 December.

Test on DNA structure, replication, transcription, translation will be on 19/20 December 2018, depending on the block. For next class, finish the Codon practice questions and be ready for a few questions in class based on that work and the Decoding the flu case study.

Be sure you are working on the DNA review included with your notes.

Complete the reading of sections 24-1 and 24-2 in text. Complete the case study (decoding the flu) and check the animation links provided once you are home. Do the follow up codon questions. Be sure to bring the completed case study to class on Friday. There may be a case study assessment given at the start of class. Work on the DNA review (included with your template notes).

Read sections 24-1 and 24-2 (p. 490 – 501).

Study for chapter 7 test, 3/4 December, depending on the block. Check the blog on the weekend for answer keys to some of the handouts given in class on 29/30 November.

If you have the optional workbook, please review from there also, and practice the test questions included.

Finish reading chapter 7. Test on Chapter 7 will be on 3/4 December. Block 1-4 finish the tylenol case study and bring completed to class on Monday. Block 2-4, complete the glucose metabolism handout and check your answers here: , , , .

Finish the Tylenol case study (all 4 parts) and bring completed answers to class. Be sure you have read all of chapter 7 and that you are working on the ATP/Cell Metabolism review (included in your notes).

Study for Enzymes test (ch. 6, 19/20 Nov) and use the text, workbook, and practice problems. Keys are posted in an earlier post. Begin reading chapter 7.

Log in to MyEd portal to view your marks. Please let parent/guardian know that marks are there for you and them to view. Late work should be handed in immediately (Friday or Monday) in order to be considered for credit, and to be included in Term 1 marks if eligible.

Work on the Enzymes Review questions (included with your notes) and check the answer keys here and here.

Study for enzymes test. Begin reading chapter 7.
