Complete the Human Organization review handout (with notes) and study the textbook and workbook.

Study for the mid-year exam, which will cover all material studied up to the exam date, including:

Scientific method, safety, microscopy, cells and organelles, biological molecules, DNA and protein synthesis, membranes and membrane transport, enzymes, ATP and cellular metabolism, human organization, and possibly the digestive system.

Finish the diffusion lab, which is due 12 January 2016 (see earlier posts and guidelines).

Work on the Human Organization review handout using the textbook (beginning on p. 198), and read ahead in preparation of the remaining lessons in this section.

Work on the lab (diffusion) that is due 12 January 2015 (see previous posts for more details and for the lab report guidelines).

Due to the grad breakfast scheduled during our next class, the final steps of the diffusion lab should be completed after school on Thursday, 17 Dec 2015.
Please arrive promptly as the classroom will only be open until 3:20 pm.
The lab write-up is due on 12 January, printed and submitted in class (not digitally on 11 January as I mentioned in class today). Please refer to my earlier post which includes the updated lab guidelines. Please follow them in preparing the lab write-up.

Study for membrane/membrane transport and ATP/cellular metabolism test, 15 Dec 2015.
Start the draft of the Diffusion lab (see the guidelines and refer to lab instructions for more details).

Work on the ATP/Cellular metabolism review and be sure you have read the workbook and attempted the review questions there.

Read relevant sections of workbook and textbook on cellular metabolism and ATP production.
Work on the ATP review sheet (last page of notes package).

Complete the DNP case study – Read and answer the questions.

Test on Membranes/membrane transport and Enzymes will be on Wednesday, 25 Nov 2015.
