Test on Chapters 8 and 9 on Thursday 14 February for period 1-4 and  Friday 15 February for period 2-2.

Make sure that workbook sections 8 and 9 are complete.  Work on p. 330-331 in textbook and hand in on the day of the test.

Science 9 Midterm 2013 Partners

Please refer to the attached document for the partners, times and location of the Science 9 Mid-Year Exam.

Please ensure that you have recorded the room number that you must report to, the time of your lab exam, and your partner’s first and last name.

Arrive at the exam location 10-15 minutes early.  Bring a pen, pencil, eraser, and calculator, in case you need them.

Ensure that you have photo ID for your exam.

If you have any questions, please see me as soon as possible.

The Science 9 Lab Exam covers all the sections we have studied this school year:  Chapters 1-3 and 7-9.

Study for the Mid-Year exam.  As we discussed, it covers chapters 1-3 and 7-9.  You may use the text, notes, workbook as well as the bcscience.com website for studying. 

Please complete the Mind-Map worksheet from class today.  Also, use the questions on p. 331 of textbook and also the practice questions (with answers) available on the Moodle site as review and practice for Ch. 9.

Please re-read the Motion Notes available on the Moodle site.  Then attempt the questions on p. 375 in the textbook. 

Study for the mid-year exam, which will cover chapters 4-8.  Please review your textbook, workbook, notes and also check the bcscience.com website for other resources.

Work on the review questions on  the Moodle site (answers are included).

Study for the Mid-Year exam (Chemistry, Static Electricity, Current Electricity, Safety, Scientific Method).
