Please read the earlier chapters 6 and 7 as part of your Provincial exam review.

Ecology – please see the powerpoint presentations posted on the Moodle site.  Begin reading chapter 1 and work on the accompanying workbook sections.

Study for test – Friday! Ch. 11 and 12.

Test will be on Friday, 3 May 2013 (Ch. 11 and 12).

Study text, notes, workbook and powerpoint presentations for the section.

Study the notes and handouts on Plate Tectonics that have been taken in class and also those that can be found on the Moodle site. Continue to work on the workbook and do the textbook reading for Ch. 12. Test for Ch. 11 and 12 will be either on Wednesday, 1 May or Friday, 3 May. To be determined.

Finish the Sea Floor worksheet. Work on workbook sections for Chapter 12.

Find number and names of crustal plates and list on the notes page.  Read text section 12.1 and 12.2 and continue with corresponding workbook sections.  See power points on the Moodle site.

Finish poster (see previous post).  Finish reading on Ch. 11 and read section 12.1.  Begin workbook section 12.1.

Workbook check next class – for marks.  Be sure to bring it in to class with you.  Finish the reading for Ch. 11 – Textbook, notes on Moodle, Powerpoint slides on Moodle.  Finish workbook sections for Ch. 11.   Ch. 11 poster (minimum 11″ X 17″ size) on Climate Change/Global Warming – see examples in text – due Wednesday 17 April.

Review the powerpoint slides for Ch 11 available on the Moodle site.  Read the notes on Climate Change on the moodle site and read the chapter section 11.1.  You may begin the workbook for this section.

Study for Ch. 10 test – Tuesday, 9 April 2013 for sections 2-1 and 2-3.  Please see the powerpoint notes and suggested study guide on the Moodle site.
