GLACIATION and NATURAL LANDSCAPES UNIT ASSIGNMENT (groups of 1 to ?)
- Read Chapter 12,13,14 in PLANET EARTH textbook
- Review MOODLE Video: Glaciers – BCLN
- Create a POWERPOINT presentation of Vocab associated with all subject-specific terms related to CREATION OF NATURAL LANDSCAPES from your reading, complete with visuals/graphics for each term where possible
- Create one detailed model (physical or digital) OR compile three first-hand (where possible) survey pictorial examples of local/BC/Canadian landscapes created by one of the processes from this unit (local, firsthand photos preferred), complete with captions explaining the model/visual and source of model/photo depending on your travels (eg. Alpine Glaciation vs. Coastal Landscapes) *Students on the Winter Sun Peaks Trip should focus on Alpine Glaciation
