      3. The 1960s Idea of the homes of the future
      4. 1950s Inventions
      5. 1960s Inventions
    2. Brainstorm (on a separate sheet) possible inventions for your ONE category that could help to create both a utopia and dystopia. Start by thinking of current issues or problems that have to do with your one category. Then consider what tech could be used or created to solve that problem in the future.

    2. Describe your object – what is it, why is it those colours, etc.
    3. Connect and explain with EVIDENCE from the NOVEL:
      1. To a character – discuss the character & how your object connects
      2. To one of the themes – discuss the theme and how your object connects

    2. Practice your section and be prepared to read aloud with your partner. Remember, I’m looking for your understanding of the character & their conflict through your voice & expression
