    1. Journals #1-11 – final peer share before they are all collected. Read and follow the instructions that I gave you when we started the journals (see that post) regarding objectives for each journal (length, format, etc. )
  2. World Issue Action Plan
    1. RESEARCH a world issue (genocide, atrocity) that you think is important (see previous posts or below). Be prepared to share your issue with the class along with at least ONE possible action that we could take to do something about it. 
    2. You will ALL be sharing your issue and your action
    3. You will ALL then be choosing your groups to get started on gathering more information and preparing a presentation to convince your classmates to choose your issue/action pursue as our class project

    2. On a separate page write up: the title & author, a basic, but engaging summary, why you liked it and why others will like it.
    3. Neatly write in the information on the sheet
    4. Make your poster ENGAGING, EYE-CATCHING, EXCITINGYour Goal: Make others notice your poster, want to read the info and then hopefully want to read that book!! Be clever and creative!

  1. LP – #23 AND the extra practice with sentences sheets
  2. Journal #4 – Final Good Copy – go back and improve your sentence and word variety along with your punctuation. Give it a great title as well.
  3. Subject-Predicate – retake quizFriday or Monday after school. Be prepared to stay for 20-30 mins to first complete extra practice sheets and then retake the quiz.
