- BLT Essay Outline sheet -in NOTE FORM except the THESIS
- Jrnl #3 – Why is being fair an important value? Explain with 3 reasons.
- Try to write a hook, but the THESIS is the most important – Example: Being is fair is an important value for three reasons.
- BODY paragraph – each box on the sheet should have a reason in note form AND evidence or examples in note form – Ex. Point 3 – reason #3 – All human life is important – Evidence/example– Healthcare: so we should be fair to everyone when it comes to health care. Some people are less healthy than others and it’s the fair and just thing to provide them with more help than those who are healthier and don’t need it.
- Conclusion – try your best to have note form plan of how you will end. Look back to your intro.
- Remember to think back to the discussion/debates we had in class and the examples and reasons people had: people’s needs vs wants, people’s circumstances, necessity vs. luxury, effort, motivation, choices, access to resources, different abilities, value hard work, value education, value human life, etc.
