- Block 1.1 – Rough copy of Alliteration Poem – Titled, 4-6 lines, 2 examples of alliteration, 1 ex. of assonance, mature/serious ideas, mark or indicate your use of alliteration & assonance
- Block 1.1 – study the poetry terms & sheets for a poetry terms quiz on Tuesday. Watch the videos to help you study —> Sound Device in Songs & Poetry
- Both Blocks – Finish all poetry sheets including “Big Yellow Taxi”, Flashcards – for the 8 poetry terms on the Special Sounds of Poetry sheet
- Watch & listen to “Big Yellow Taxi” —-> Joni Mitchell- “Big Yellow Taxi” AND Counting Crows “Big Yellow Taxi”
