  3. Setting Pkg – complete worksheets from Rhyme Time to Alliteration Action – do in pencil, in case you do them wrong
  4. Watch the video to help with the sheets — Click here –> Alliteration, Assonance, and more explained! If you don’t want to watch it all, make sure you watch from 1:44- 2:44 to help you with your homework. We will be doing all the terms eventually though.

ENGLISH 10 – 1.3/1.4

HOMEWORK: Due Tuesday

  1. There were a lot of you who were absent!! 🙁 You let your Lit Circle groups down AND you didn’t get the next reading package for the next Lit Circle meeting.  If you were absent, you MUST come see me ASAP to get the handouts and you MUST get a hold of your group to figure out what role you have for next class.
  2. Read, highlight, complete Qs for “The Friday Everything Changed” – prep for reading quiz
  3. Complete your 1 new Lit Circle sheet for “The Friday Everything Changed”
  4. Start reviewing the terms on the blue Narrative Terms handout I gave you
  5. Otello opera fieldtrip form – get it filled out & bring your $16 ASAP!

  2. Finish Story Map sheet – use pencil to fill in the rising and falling action just in case you get something wrong
  3. “Autumntime” Qs – #1-8 AND Developing Skills #1-3. All on a lined piece of paper, clearly labelled – name/date/block/title- leave space after each answer so you can add to or correct what you have
  4. Start flashcards for the 6 Character terms

  2. Journal #1 – “Identities” – What is identity?  What is YOUR identity?  List the top 5 descriptors you would use to describe you & explain each choice. (Ex. Kind, female, determined, religious, loyal, friend, etc.). Double spaced, in pen, at least 3 paragraphs, good discussion. (click on English 11 tab above for info on journals)
