  1. Compare & Contrast Character – 2 sheets completed – both front AND back.  The back should have 3 Points/categories in the 3 middle arrows and 2-3 supporting details for each point/arrow in the boxes for each character.

  1. Fahrenheit 451 – Read p. 118-133 AND do Qs. #6-10
  2. Worksheet – Conflict: “Battle lines” will be collected
  3. Quiz #3 – Focus on Part 2 of novel
  4. Project Entry #6: “Other” – rough work to class (project will probably be due in 2 weeks)
  5. MEDIA activities – you need to write a half page response (total 1 page) for both of these links – titled, double spaced, in pen.  The first link is the movie clip we watched in class.  Discuss: What is it showing and how is it similar to the novel? Consider conflict, themes, setting, character.  Movie clip & synthesis writing —>  “They Live Sunglasses”.  The second is a website that has several FAKE Websites.  Read through them and choose 1 to focus on.  Discuss: Describe the site and what its “selling” and discuss how sites like it can be a problem.  Also try to connect these ideas with the novel.  Consider setting, conflict, theme. How media savvy are you?? —> Can you spot the Fake Websites?
