- Poetry Duotang – Narrative Poems – read & do Qs on a separate page – “Nancy Hanks“, “The Bridge Came Tumblin’ Down”, and “The Ballad of Birmingham” – remember to note down the Setting, Characters, Conflict & Plot for all 3 of them.

- Flashcards – finish the last section – Poem Types: Narrative, Ballad, Lyric

- “Dead Poets Society” poems pkg – prepare for your jigsaw teaching activity 1. Know your poem – poetic devices used, theme, meaning, etc. 2. Have a plan of how you will “teach” it to your group 3. Read through and mark up – ALL the poems to prepare
