ENGLISH 10 – 1.1/1.2

HOMEWORK: Due Friday

1. “One Friday Morning” – read, HIGHLIGHT, do Qs.
2. TKAM – Social Context Project – Go through the list of topics AND do some research to decide which topics interest you the most.  Then on a slip of paper, write your NAME & BLOCK, and write – in order of preference – your TOP three topics. Write the topic number as well as the full topic itself. 
3. REALLY IMPORTANT! Because of the numbers of students I have this year in my 2 Eng. 10 classes, I have had to make some adjustments to the topics and the options. 
   1. PLEASE NOTE the changes: Topic #29: Current Artist-Activist: will be divided into 2 different topics.  So NOW #29 Current Artist-Activist: Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Beyonce, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.  New #30 Current Artist-Activist: Miguel, Lauryn Hill, Joe Budden, Jesse Willams.
   2. PLEASE NOTE the changes: In addition to the ** topics (#1,6,7, 8, 9, 17, and 28) that can be duplicated (1 person in each class), the following topic #s can also be done in BOTH classes: #3, 5, 10, 15, 18, 19, 21, 24, 29, 30.  All of these topics can be presented in both classes- as in 2 students, one from each class, can choose the above topics.
