Canada Wide Science Fair & International Science and Engineering Fair 2023 Results!
CWSF 2023
Congratulations to Justin Du (grade 12) and Justin Peng (grade 10) to achieving great success at the CWSF 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta! Justin Du brought home a bronze medal (senior division) and Justin Peng received a silver medal (intermediate division). Both students received entrance scholarships with their medals. Great job!

DT’s Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair Achievements!
Congratulations to all the GVRSF 2023 DT participants and award winners for their amazing achievements! Our DT’s Justin Du and Justin Peng have been invited to the Canada Wide Science Fair representing BC. Tara Zhan has been invited to the International Science and Engineering Fair 2023 representing Canada. A big shout out to all our award winners that have received a medal and special awards for their projects. All the participants did an amazing job showcasing their work. Cheers to all!

DT Odyssey Program 2023 Grade 7 Intake
DT Odyssey Program Assessment Test
Happy New Year to everyone!
The assessment test is a requirement for all DT Odyssey Program applicants. Testing will take place on Friday, January 6th, 2023, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM (approximately). All grade 7 students that have submitted their paper applications to DT, should have received emails with testing information. If you did not receive an email, please contact dtodyssey@vsb.bc.ca as your email address may not have been recorded correctly or you did not submit an application package to DT.

ASMA News (Math Contest Results)
Congratulations to the Odyssey Math 8 class!
They received a First Place certificate in the American Scholastic Mathematics Association contest. It is an annual, worldwide contest that runs over 6 months. These dedicated students came in during their FIT time in semester 2 to complete the contest.
Annisa Law and Kevin Huang were amongst the highest scores in the world and received a certificate to celebrate their achievement.
Canada Wide Science Fair 2022 Results
Congrats to all our CWSF 2022 winners! Amazing results for our DT students! The students put in time and effort to showcase to the world how their passion can help build a better world for everyone.
CWSF is the country’s largest annual youth science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) event. This event brings together the top young scientists together to showcase the top projects selected from the national network of over a hundred regional STEM fairs in all the provinces and territories. The CWSF was held in Fredericton, New Brunswick and students had to navigate virtually due to the pandemic.

Greater Vancouver Science Fair and Canada Wide Science Fair News
The GVRSF is over this year! The results are in and DT has done well once again! Our DT’s Justin Peng, Tara Zhan, Viduni Siriwardana, Emily Chan, Pari Goyal, and Lucie Li have advanced to the CWSF 2022!
The DT GVRSF Science Team consisted of 16 students that had amazing projects. The students scored a lot of awards and prizes, so click here to see the results and photos of them in action.
