Odyssey grade 8s to 12s volunteering on Parent and Student Info Night 2023
Odyssey Parent and Student Info Night 2023

Candidates for the Program

The Odyssey Program seeks students that are well-rounded and are looking for academic challenges.  Students that can apply their problem-solving skills, improvise in a constantly changing world, work well independently while also being a team player when the situation calls for it.

Selection Process

After submission of the completed application package to DT, students will write a student assessment test on January 12, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the school cafeteria.  The results from the application package, the assessment test, the grade 7 report card, and any other applicable references (e.g., teacher reference, community references, etc.) will be reviewed.  Selected students will be invited to the student interviews on February 1, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 12 PM.  Only the successful applicants will be notified during the first round offers and/or second offers by email.

Any student who wishes to enter the program during their grade 8th year or later should contact the Odyssey AP Program Coordinator to inquire if space is available. Selection will be based on student records and the results from a variety of testing instruments. A committee of representative teachers will review applications and determine the successful candidates.
