VSB Mini School District Registry: Students must register in the registry between November 16 and December 17, 2026. In addition to this registration, students are required to submit separate applications to each mini school program they wish to be considered for. The DT Odyssey program will use a digital application process. Please continue to check both the VSB Mini School website and the DT Odyssey website for updates and additional information.

School Application: The DT Odyssey digital program application is open to the public from 8:00 AM, Thursday, October 1, 2026, to 3 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2026.

Grade 6 and 7 Report Card Submissions: To complete the student digital application package, applicants must submit paper copies of their final Grade 6 report card and their December Grade 7 report card by Friday, January 8th, by 3 PM in the main office. Please be mindful of the school office hours due to winter break closures. Main office hours are 8 AM to 3:45 PM. No email submissions will be accepted. Report cards issued by public, private, and district learning institutions are accepted. Please note that report cards from homeschooling programs are not accepted.
Student Assessment Test: Friday, January 8, 2027, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, in the school cafeteria. Students are required to bring a pencil, pen, eraser, and ruler. Completion of the assessment test is a mandatory component of the application process. Please note that no alternative dates will be offered for students who are unable to attend.
Student Interviews: Only selected applicants will be invited via email to attend a student interview, which will take place on Monday, February 1, 2027, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the school. Please note that no alternative dates will be offered for students who are unable to attend.
Notification of Acceptance: First offers on Wednesday, February 17th, 2027, by e-mail, and second offers on Wednesday, February 24th, 2027, by e-mail.
