Happy Autumn! DT Odyssey Mini School Program registration and application information have been posted on the website. There is NO PARENT INFO NIGHT and no VSB District Entrance Assessment Test. Students must apply to the VSB Mini School District Registry (online) and submit a paper application package directly to David Thompson Secondary School (drop off in person to the Main office).

Five amazing DT students have been invited to the Canada Wide Science Fair this year. Many of the DT students were awarded cash prizes and trophies! The GVRSF results can be found on the Science Fair 2021 page.
First-round student offers will be sent out by email on February 24th, 2021 in the morning at 8 am to 9 am. Please check the registered email that was given to the district registry (including your SPAM or JUNK mail). If student accepts the offer, please reply promptly to hold the spot. If there is no student acceptance confirmation reply to DT by February 26th, 2021 by noon, the student’s spot will be given to another student.
Student Interviews: Due to the current and changing COVID environment, DT Odyssey Mini School Program will NOT be hosting student interviews for the 2021-2022 Odyssey intake cohort. Selections will be made based on the student’s application package.
Grade 7 Report Card Submission: To complete the student application package, the submission of the grade 7 report in January 2021 is required. Please submit the grade 7 report card as soon as available. Please attach the student’s grade 7 report as a pdf file with the student’s name on it.
Notification of Acceptance: First offers on February 24, 2021 by e-mail and second offers on March 3, 2021 by e-mail
Please register directly to your preferred mini school program(s) and to the VSB District Mini School Registry (opens November 9th to December 17th). Click on APPLY on this website for more details.
