So, where do I buy the bugs that we will cook with? I’m heading down to Chinatown this morning. I’ve heard you can buy fresh(live), dead or canned. More to follow if it all works out.
As a backup, I ordered some Chocolate covered Silkworms and some SuperWorms from that website. Delivery is 2 -4 weeks, though.
UPDATE :: Super bummed out. Spent 2 hours walking around Chinatown asking about bugs. Some people thought I was crazy and was accusing them of a dirty store; others wanted $238 for a magic grasshopper to cure cancer. I eventually got cold and we went to BeanAroundTheWorld for hot chocolate. Would’ve been nice to order a scorpion with that. Luckily I did order off the web but it will take a bit of time. They already shipped but chances are the customs guys will have to sample them…
