You assignment – Create, perform and report your findings (blog-writing, pics, video?) a cold weather experiment.

Keep it simple. Choose something that interests you. Food? Water? Friction? Human Body?

  1. Ask a QUESTION that is testable.
  2. Devise a method to test and break it down into steps.
  3. List your materials.
  4. List the steps.
  5. Record your raw data/observations (take a pic?)
  6. Repeat 2-5 times.
  7. Draw conclusions – report your findings.
  8. Ask 3 interesting future questions.

  2. Does my computer run faster when colder?
  3. At what temperature do I get goosebumps?
  4. How far does sound travel in the cold?
  5. Can I freeze my tears on my face?
  6. Can car tires freeze with a flat side?
  7. Why are some people getting colder than others?
  8. Hit google with some keywords like “cold science experiments”
