Track & Field – there will be another meeting Thursday at lunch. We will be going over practice days/times, meet schedules and a few more items. Please arrive right away (bring your lunch) so we can get started.
Grade 8s and 9’s, your Term 2 indoor fitness assessment will go Tuesday, Feb. 26th in class. If you miss for any reason, you must make it up Thursday, Feb 28th.
You will also be given a Term 2 SMART goals follow up assignment which is due Thursday, Feb 28th. If you do not receive or lose the paper copy assignment, I’ll post it here on this blog by Tuesday.

If you are interested in joining the John Oliver Track & Field team this year, please sign up outside the Main Gym. We will have our first meeting for anyone interested at lunch Tuesday, February 26th in the Main Gym (*last Friday’s meeting was postponed).
Note you are able to compete in Track & Field AND another spring sport with permission from coaches of both those teams.
You can choose your events: throws, jumps, sprints, distance.

Grade 8’s in block 1-3 & 1-4, you will have a Sexual Health Lesson presented in class by the John Oliver school nurse on Thursday, February 14th. The curriculum overview is attached here if you or your parents/guardians have any questions: Sexual Health Overview
