Tuesday December 5

2-1 S.S 8: We did our gallery walk presentations today. Students gave peer feedback to three classmates each. Afterwards, they filled in their K-W-L chart with information that they learned from their peers projects. Lastly, students filled in an exit slip that was handed in at the end of class. No homework! We are starting a new unit next day – Exploration!

2-4 ELL S.S: We completed an entrance slip at the beginning of class where students were able to use their homework to answer the proposed question. After this, we began working on a worksheet package about inventions from the Agricultural Revolution. This worksheet package is due next class – Thursday, December 7th.

2-3 ELL Reading: We read a new story today – “Don Quixote and the Windmills”. Afterwards, students had time to finish their worksheet package about Caesar Chavez – this package must be handed in next class. Once they finished that they were instructed to begin their vocabulary for our new story. As well, we started doing our daily reading assessment.
