Safe practice is essential in any science classroom.
Students receive general and room specific safety information, information on WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) symbols and practice reading product labels and a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
All students will complete a set of handouts and score at least 86% on a 30 mark multiple choice quiz. The quiz may be taken as many times as necessary to achieve this standard.
