1918 – 1963

In September 1918, the Commercial classes of King Edward High School moved to a building vacated by Kitsilano High School at Cecil Rhodes school, and were renamed the Cecil Rhodes High School of Commerce (1920). They then moved to rooms in the King Edward building (1921 – 1935) as the High School of Commerce and then to Broadway and Granville in 1927, replacing Fairview elementary school.
