Our butterflies have emerged from the chrysalis!  They emerged over the weekend, and we came back to our classroom on Monday to find beautiful butterflies greeting us from within the tank.  We wanted to keep them for a few days longer, but we wanted to set the butterflies free so that they could find food.  The butterflies were very eager to fly off, so we didn’t get to look at them for very long.  But it was exciting and beautiful to watch as they flew off into the summer day!
