Antibullying Jewelry 3D Printing Project

In February, Division 12 embarked on an integrated Science, Technology, Art, Engineering  and Math (STEAM) project in the form of designing and 3D printing Antibullying jewelry.  First, we conceptualized our designs in 2D, considering what shapes we need to use to make a design wearable.  We also needed to consider the artistic expression of the Antibullying theme.  When our designs were recorded in 2D, we had our big buddies help us shape and mold 3D models using plasticine.  This gave us an idea of sizing.  It helped us to learn that bracelets will need to be larger than rings!  Finally, we transferred our designs onto the 3D printing software with the help of some very brave and patient division 12 moms!  Our final products are beautiful, wearable expressions of our Antibullying sentiments!  Enjoy!
