HELLO, EVERYONE!

WHO AM I:  Mrs. Oudt

ALL ABOUT ME:  Here are some fun facts about me!  

• I love being a teacher!  I spent the first two years of my career as a Resource Teacher, and the last two decades teaching Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 1/2 combined classes, or Grade 2!  
• I am a proud “Vancouverite” who was born and raised in this beautiful city.
• My family and friends are super important to me.
• As a pop culture fan, I “nerd out” over things related to Star Wars, Marvel Avengers, and Harry Potter!
• I am a “foodie” at heart who loves trying new cuisine.  (Sushi, Anton’s pasta, dim sum, and Me-n-Ed’s pizzas are my faves!)
• A passion of mine is interior decorating; I like putting a room together.
• I am a bookworm!  I love reading cookbooks and biographies.
• My heart bursts when I see students blossom and thrive in school!

HOW TO REACH OUT:  As you know, school is a bustling place!  Dedicating time to student learning is our staff’s TOP priority between 9:00 and 2:58, and we often have meetings or supervision duty before and after school.  Despite how busy we are, please know what you have to say or share matters! 

• ANY URGENT MATTERS (e.g. late for pick up):  call (604) 713-4686 to speak with our Office Staff who will then relay info to me
• ANY NON-URGENT INFORMATIONAL ITEMS (e.g. doctor’s appointment):  write a note in your child’s agenda to let me (or the Teacher-On-Call, if I am away) know what is going on
• ANY QUESTIONS/CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S PROGRESS:  feel free to email me at roudt@vsb.bc.ca to arrange a time when we can talk over the phone or in person
