Le matin nous nous sommes rencontrés à la gare vers 9 heures. Nous sommes partis à Paris en train RER pour un tour en bateau sur la Seine. La vue de la ville de la rivière était très belle. Cependant, le vent était un peu froid. Nous avons quand même réussi à nous amuser beaucoup. Nous avons mangé notre collation, vu la Tour Eiffel de loin, et salué les personnes qui se promenaient sur les ponts. L’après midi, nous sommes allés au musée du Louvre, un des plus grand musée d’art. Nous avons pris presque trois heures pour voir les pièces d’art les plus connues, comme La Joconde (The Mona Lisa) et la Venus de Milo. Même si on a dû beaucoup marcher, ça a valait la peine de voir l’art magnifique. Après ça, les élèves avaient le choix de visiter soit le Shakespeare and Company Bookstore ou l’intérieur de la cathédrale Notre Dame. Ensuite nous sommes retournés à la station de train pour rentrer chez nos familles d’accueil pour la nuit.

———————————-Today near nine o’clock in the morning the group got together for yet another filled up day in Paris. We then took the train into Paris and once we got off we headed to the Eiffel Tower and went on a boat tour! It was a bit chilly but everyone got to see the amazing city. Once we got off the boat our next stop was the Louvre, where we spent a good three hours touring around the museum. We had a chance to examine all the statues and the art that was painted and heard about some of the stories and history behind the art. Near the end we ended up seeing the Mona Lisa which was so amazing to see in person. Even though it was a long tour, it was worth it and then we had one more stop to do. We walked around the apartments of Napoleon III and we had a chance to view the furniture, rooms and antiques, which were beautiful. To end our day, some of us ended up going inside Notre Dame, while others explored the Shakespeare bookshop. Everyone seemed tired at the end and we took to train back to be picked up by our home-stay families.
