Math (accelerated)

  • Grade 8 – Math 8/9 Mini is an accelerated course and may contain the following a review of fractions, integers, percentages from elementary school and then the complete Math 9 curriculum which can include: rational numbers, scale factors and similarity, powers and exponents, polynomials, linear relations and equations, banking and budgeting, and statistics. Use of technology including graphing calculators and laptops.
  • Grade 9 – Math 10 Mini follows the Foundations and Precalculus Math 10 curriculum and includes concepts in financial mathematics, trigonometry, exponents and radicals, polynomials, linear relations and equations, and solving systems of linear equations. Use of technology including graphing calculators and laptops.
  • Grade 10 – Pre-Calculus 11 follows theĀ  curriculum and includes concepts in real number system, powers, radicals, trigonometry, relations, inequalities, financial literacy, and functions. Use of technology including graphing calculators and laptops.
  • Grade 11 – Pre-Calculus 12 follows the curriculum and includes concepts in transformations, exponents and logarithms, trigonometry, geometric sequences and series, relations, and functions. Use of technology including graphing calculators and laptops.
