• For entry AFTER Grade 8 (LATE ENTRY) please complete scroll to the bottom of the page

IMPORTANT DATES:  GRADE 7 APPLICANTS (for Grade 8 entry in the 2024-25 school year)

1. GENERAL REGISTRY will be open between November 14 – December 21 , 2023 and hosted on the VSB Website @ https://govsb.ca/secondary-programs or Vancouver School Board – Mini School Expression of Interest (vsb.bc.ca)
2. December 21, 2023 – Application Package Deadline: The Application Package must be submitted by December 21, 2023. As a reminder, the Application Package must include all documents/pictures/reports in ONE email message (subject line must be applicant’s name) and be sent to: JODigitalMini@vsb.bc.ca
3. INTERVIEWS: January 29-31, 2024 (tentative)
4. OFFERS:
   • FIRST OFFERS – February 28th (Acceptance confirmation due February 29th by noon)
     • First offers will be sent via email on February 28th after 9AM. (Follow up phone calls may be necessary).
   • SECOND OFFERS – March 6th (Acceptance confirmation due March 7th by noon)
     • Second offers will be sent via email on March 6th after 9AM. (Follow up phone calls may be necessary).
   • Please note: for each round of offers, emails will only be sent to accepted candidates.

LATE-ENTRY APPLICATIONS (joining the program after grade 8):

• WE ALSO ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FOR OUR GRADE 9-12 CLASSES AS SPOTS OPEN UP.

• Please send your completed forms to us along with a photograph and copy of your most recent report card.  You may email your application to ilau@vsb.bc.ca, or fax it to 604-713-8937.
• As part of the selection process, you will be called for an interview; only selected candidates will be contacted.
• Students offered late-entry into the mini-school should complete math requirements by the start of the next semester.
