Putting Your Resume Together

At this point in your life, your resume should be 1 page in length. You are not required to submit your references. 

On this handout, Transferable Skills and Verbs, you will find lots of great words that you can use to describe the employment and life related skills that you have developed so far. You will also find some useful verbs to help you describe tasks and responsibilities you have had in your volunteer and work positions.

To complete this assignment, after you have completed your resume, go to your CLC12 Teams Resume Assignment and upload your resume. Please save your resume in PDF format (do not submit a Word or Pages file) before uploading. This is standard procedure when applying for any job or submitting documentation for post-secondary programs.
