Have you ever wanted to learn a musical instrument? Here is your opportunity! You will have a choice of an instrument and learn the process of how to play it. You will also learn to work as a team, perform for others, play in festivals, and have FUN doing it! Instruments choices range from the following: oboe, flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba and percussion.
You are open to take Beginner Band when entering John Oliver in Grade 8, or any grade after that! Many students start their journey learning an instrument in Grade 9 or 10.
