This pathway is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical- thinking skills identified for post secondary studies in programs that require study of theoretical calculus. After completing this course a student has satisfied math graduation requirements.

Topics include:

• Real number system
• Algebra will be worked into several topics
• Rational equations and operations on rational expressions
• Quadratic functions and quadratic equations
• Polynomial functions and polynomial factoring
• Trigonometry including angles in standard position and non–right triangles
• Operations on powers with rational exponents resulting in radical values
• Exponential functions
• Financial literacy: investments and loans
