VSB blog site is using WordPress Multisite setting, so the bloggers share the same WordPress installation, also share plugins and themes. There are some slightly differences between VSB blogs site and a regular WordPress site.
You are using the VSB username with the password to work on the blog site.
You can continue to use the Classic editor by default or switch to block editor (on the sidebar) on new post.
