For HW: Complete the map of Canada for next class: Monday, October 24th
Here is a: Political Map of Canada
Everyone spent two classes making sure they labelled their maps…double check to ensure you have the following labelled on the map:
- All the provinces/territories and their capital cities
- All the Great Lakes (use numbers and indicate on your legend)
- St. Lawrence River
- Hudson Bay
- Pacific Ocean
- Atlantic Ocean
Colour on the map:
- in grey: land that is NOT Canada
- colour each province/territory in a different colour
- trace in RED the international boundary
- use blue for water…colour or outline the water
You must have a LEGEND on the map that must indicate the following:
- symbol for a provincial/territorial city
- symbol for the nation’s capital
- symbol for the international border
- symbol for provincial/territorial border
