About Outreach
Outreach is a district-wide senior secondary alternative program located on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil Waututh, and Squamish Coast Salish people.
The program was created to provide a safe, welcoming, and successful learning environment to Indigenous students who face barriers and/or systemic obstacles in mainstream classes. Non-Indigenous applicants who are interested in contributing and participating in a program with an Indigenous mindset will also be considered.
Outreach operates on a semester system, emphasizing on grades 10-12; leading to a BC Secondary Graduation Certificate (Dogwood). Outreach can assist students to access post-secondary education, vocational/trades training and/or employment opportunities.
