Why Fundraise?

Each year we support projects for JO Kids (mostly from the BC Lottery Grant money, about $20 per student) funding to many amazing clubs, projects and groups.

But, more funds are needed -we have recognized a $6000 cap in Nov 2021!

Here’s how you can help:

1. Buy Purdy’s by November 22 2021 at our link, and JO gets 25%

Share with others to support our Fundraising Campaign! Order by end of day November 22, pickup at JO 3-4pm likely around December 17.  Receive unlimited use 25% off card for Purdy’s Factory Store on Kingsway (good til end of next Oct). In 2019, we raised $484 for JO programs!

You, your parents, your relatives+ friends buy (physical!) gift cards from this online interface (you can also buy digital gift cards, which you can print or use with phone). Physical gift cards delivered to your/recipient’s house by mail ($1 fee). Can order for recipients across country, eg cousins/aunts in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, etc.

4. Eat at any of these FOUR Restaurants, Drop Off Receipt & JO gets 10% food value

Chander Pathak, dad to Gr 1 student (2021-2022), offers us 10% back for any receipt for JO friend, alumni, parent, staff, student dining at one of the four restaurants he is involved with. Drop receipts to the John Oliver PAC box orange envelope or mail to the school (indicate JO PAC Dine Out, 530 E 41st Ave, Vancouver, BC V5W 1P3) and Chander will write a cheque for 10% of the pre-tax amount of full price items. Write either “Friend of JO”, “staff”, “alumni” or student’s name+grade on receipt.
