Students should have their second drafts of their essay completed and we are moving onto peer editing this week.

Final drafts will be collected next week.

DW:  Write a short story located in London at 12 (noon) on a rainy day…

Peer editing of your second draft this week…

DW:  Rewrite Chapters 1 and 2 from Animal Farm from another character’s point of view (ex.  Napoleon, Mollie, Boxer, Benjamin…)

Have a print out of your second draft for Monday, May 16th!  Don’t forget to double space and use a standard font and size of 10 or 12 (Times New Roman, Arial, Courier)

DW:  What is an allegory? Explain it and the choose one of the following:

Write a short story that is an allegory    OR      Write about the significance of allegories.

VOCAB WEEK 12 QUIZ:  Friday, May 13th

Editing of your drafts are due Friday, May 13th at the beginning of class.

You do not need to re-print the essay…I am looking at the edits you are making to the drafts you submitted last week and giving them back by the end of class.  Remember to go over the checklist that was handed out today to help you edit.
