For HW:  Complete the map of Canada for next class:  Monday, October 24th

Here is a:  Political Map of Canada

Everyone spent two classes making sure they labelled their maps…double check to ensure you have the following labelled on the map:

  • All the provinces/territories and their capital cities
  • All the Great Lakes (use numbers and indicate on your legend)
  • St. Lawrence River
  • Hudson Bay
  • Pacific Ocean
  • Atlantic Ocean

 

Colour on the map:

  • in grey: land that is NOT Canada
  • colour each province/territory in a different colour
  • trace in RED the international boundary
  • use blue for water…colour or outline the water

 

You must have a LEGEND on the map that must indicate the following:

  • symbol for a provincial/territorial city
  • symbol for the nation’s capital
  • symbol for the international border
  • symbol for provincial/territorial border
