You are a group of 4 and are working on the first half of Chapter 2 together. Each person is responsible for one section:
I. The Reign of Queen Victoria
II. Victorian Attitudes and Values
III. A New Age of Science and Medicine (also green box – Breaking the Barriers: Emily Stowe)
IV. Leisure and Travel
I strongly suggest you type your notes and properly format them since you will be required to make 3 more copies for your group members. If you are unable to print out extra copies, please make arrangements with me before Monday.
In addition, everyone will be doing their own set of notes for the second half of Chapter 2.
The following notes are due on Monday, December 8th:
- Your own individual notes as assigned above…along with 3 copies for your group members.
- V. Building a Nation
Reminder: We will be attending the Boys Joker Classic this week. The class scouting out how the two Senior Leadership classes put on the tournament. What is done well? What can be improved? Any ideas? Anything you can learn from this week to apply to next year when your class is putting on the tournament. Let’s focus on realistic ideas and making sure that you are able to do it well. Better to do a few things well than trying to do a lot of things and not doing them well.
