Chapter 2 notes are due the first day back on January 6th!  The notes are worth 30 marks.

You have a choice of how you wish to take notes:

Choice #1:  Formal outline notes for the whole chapter.

• This is the note taking we focused on this semester.
• Provided that the notes are done well you can receive a mark up to 30 out or 30.

OR

Choice #2:  Two-column notes.

• If you don’t think you will have time or have struggled with note taking, you may take notes by working through the Chapter 2 Two Column notes booklet.
• HOWEVER, the most you will receive will be a 21 out of 30 provided that the booklet is done well!

• December 17:  Class review time for Test Chapters 1 & 2
• December 18:  Test on Chapters 1 & 2
• December 19:  Class time to work on Chapters 4,5,6

• January 6:  Chapter notes due
• January 7,8,9:  Go over, teach/learn/review Chapters 4,5,6
• January 10:  Class review time for Test on Chapters 4,5,6

January 13:  Test on Chapters 4,5,6

Each student is responsible for a set of notes for a designated chapter (Chapters 4,5,6) decided by the group.

Chapter notes are due Monday, January 6, 2025.  Notes must be in ink (for photocopying), properly formatted (and only students who have been asked will be typing their notes)

First week back will be given over to the groups to go over and teach/learn/review the chapters.

Students will be peer evaluated:

• on the quality of their notes
• their knowledge of the chapter
• their ability to pass on their knowledge of the chapter to the group
