Asian Geography Project: Check-in #2 is Friday, September 29th!

  • You must upload, update your project on the private channel on TEAMs by the end of the school day on Friday!
  • Many students are not making good use of their time… there will be only one week after the 29th for you to work on the project.
  • Presentations start on Tuesday, October 10th!

Tuesday, October 3:  Mapping Quiz!
  • Covering Geolab 1-8:  symbols, directions, scale, bearings
  • You must have a ruler, protractor and sharp pencil and eraser and work accurately!
Friday, October 6th:  Quiz on Geography Vocab
  • Study the Geography vocab booklet!
  • You will need to be able to define and identify from pictures various landforms and waterbodies
  • Refer to the Socials 8 tab on the HW Blog for helpful websites!

Students who need to redo their Quiz on Asian countries must do so this week!
Back up, back up, BACK UP!! Ensure you do not lose your project by backing it up on One Drive, email it to yourself, save it onto a USB…anything else so you have a back up.
“I lost my presentation” is not a valid excuse!
You can also upload it onto your private channel as part of your update…which is due by Thursday, September 21st

Asian Studies Geography Project week 1:

  • Everyone should be well into the research part of their project
  • Make sure you are keeping an up to date citation list going
  • Week 2:  getting started on categorizing your information and maybe get a start on the basic structure of your presentation
  • Update on Teams private channel your progress and upload evidence by September 21st
