SFU visit on Tuesday November 20th:
- check Moodle for updates and forms for your visit
- you are responsible for your transportation to and from SFU
- you will check in with me up at SFU and you must hand in your activities to me personally at the end of the day before you leave for the day
- you will have time for lunch (bring a bag lunch or buy lunch at SFU)
- bring something to write notes with (ex. clipboard, paper and pen)
- students who are not attending or do not attend must complete an alternate assignment which will be due at the end of the day on November 20th…it will be electronically submitted

Study and review for Geography Unit Test: November 15th
*You MUST REMEMBER to bring protractors, rulers and other materials you need for map work
Inventions of the Industrial Revolution meets Dragons Den Project due: Nov 22nd
- Students must sign up in pairs or groups of 3 and choose one invention from the Industrial Revolution
- You will be given class time to work on the assignment

- Inventors and Inventions of the Industrial Revolution
- The most important inventions of the Industrial Revolution
Test on Chapter 5 will be on November 26

Test will be 40 MC and 40 marks for the written test for a grand total of 80 marks

Treasure Map Project due: November 13th
- Remember your maps must be in ink and one sided.
- You may have a second sheet of paper for your Treasure Hunt Directions
- Do not glue or tamper with the maps (cutting edges or discolouring the map) since they will be put through the photocopier! You do not want to risk damaging your map as it gets fed through the machine!
- Do write your name on the back of the map and instruction sheets
